About the Role
We are seeking our next best and brightest Architectural Designer to join our Seoul-based team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on some incredible community defining local projects while collaborating with our other Asia Pacific (APAC) studios to deliver innovative, world-class design outcomes. This exciting position combines hands-on design responsibility with opportunities to contribute to concept development and technical delivery.

What will you be engaged in?
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary APAC project team to design and deliver some of the world’s most complex and defining pieces of architecture.
• Liaise directly with clients and consultants, representing Populous throughout project stages.
• Contribute to the development of design concepts using parametric design tools and workflows.
• Coordinate communication across time zones, ensuring seamless communication and design integration.
• Participate in project presentations, reviews, and design workshops.
About You
• University Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Architecture from Korea or other recognised university.
• 3+ years of experience in an architectural practice.
• Strong proficiency in parametric design (Rhino/Grasshopper essential; Revit and Dynamo advantageous).
• Fluent in both Korean and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and disciplines.
• Excellent design communication skills – verbal, visual, and written.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with confidence in client-facing environments.
• Organised, self-driven and able to work under pressure

Skills & Experience:
• A strong design sensibility and critical thought process.
• Strong presentation skills, diagramming, sketching, 3D perspectives, and modelling.
• Strong proactive thinking and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Rhino, V-Ray & Enscape, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using Revit for architectural documentation.
• Sound technical knowledge of architectural project delivery.
• Strong project coordination skills and experience, specifically with working alongside other consultants and attending meetings.
• Demonstratable skills using Microsoft Office Products ad presentation software.
